All rescue horses have been quarantined and checked out by a Veterinarian.
We assess behavior to provide a good understanding of each horses personailty and ability.
Firefly aka "Spoon"
Saddlebred Gelding aprox 6-7 yrs old
He is said to be broke to ride and drive. He's a very sweet boy and easy to manage once he is caught. He has some trust issues and is very hard to catch. Perfect manners for the Farrier.. come check him out and spend a little time to see if it's Love at first sight! He needs to find his forever home and someone show him love and safety... trust.

Ghost
Red-Cloud Paint Proud-cut aprox 7-8 yrs old
Super athletic horse with experience on trails and working cattle in a feed lot. Unfortunately a past owner was less than honest selling him for top dollar as a gelding. Testosterone issues were discovered when he went through a fence to get with a mare. Testing indicates he is in fact proud-cut. Amazing horse for a home without mares.

Kay
Saddlebred Mare aprox 16 yrs old
Kay joined us with her son, firefly. She arrived extremely neglected and her life expectancy was questionable due to her very low weight. Even in that condition, she was still wearing cart-pulling shoes! Will be ridable once she gains more weight. One of the sweetest horses we have seen and she loves attention from all ages

Halflinger Gelding age unknown
Bash is a recent arrival and we are still assessing him. he has one cloudy eye and is very timid but friendly. We will know more in the coming weeks so stay tuned!

A recent arrival and shows signs of significant abuse and is very apprehensive with people. She is making some progress at feeding time but it will take a while to fully assess her.
